Skye “Exceptional glamping, prime location, vegan friendly!”
Hluhluwe Bush Camp is exceptional, and by far one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Our tent was so homely, and had fantastic design touches; it also featured USB plugs, mosquito nets, and wifi! The entire camp is eco-friendly and off grid, using solar, gas, and borehole, and collected shower water is used for the garden. There are nyala, reed buck, and duiker on the property, and a well-maintained 2km track takes you through a range of fauna and flora; you can see them all from your tent, along with gorgeous bird life such as sugarbirds and paradise flycatchers. It is also vegan friendly, but I mean VEGAN FRIENDLY, from pancakes to burgers to toasted cheese, and everything in between. Noni is a great cook, and went out of her way to make delicious food for us. Any vegan who travels knows how hard it is to find this, so you absolutely must visit. Trienke and Peter are fantastic hosts with a wealth of knowledge on the area, recommending places to eat and places to hike. We’ll definitely be back!

We were looking for peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got. Facilities were excellent for a tented camp - we appreciated the private bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Will definitely go back.
