Guest houses Overview

In Hertford town centre, The Dog and Whistle Pub provides boutique-style rooms displaying contemporary design. With a bar and restaurant serving an ever-changing menu, it also provides free WiFi.
Each room has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities, as well as an en suite shower with toiletries provided. Some rooms also have a bath. Whitewashed walls, art deco lights and Scandinavian mirrors are just some of the design elements found at The Dog and Whistle Pub.
A menu of freshly cooked food is served, alongside locally brewed ales and continental lagers. The bar also hosts regular live music nights.
Around 30 miles north of central London, Hertford is within 15 minutes’ drive of Harlow and Welwyn Garden City, and around 20 minutes from Stevenage and Borehamwood. Hatfield’s Galleria Shopping Centre contains over 80 stores and is around 9 miles away.

The fine print
Please be aware music will be played on the ground floor of the pub on Thursday evenings until 23:30 and on Friday and Saturday evenings until 00:30.
There is no lift at the hotel. Please be aware that the stairs to the top floor are steep and there are low ceilings. We are located right in town centre with other bars and restaurants open till late on weekend nights, which might disturb your nights stay with us.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Always awesome, stayed many times. Very convenient check in process, large spotless well equipped rooms with some really nice extra touches (cake!).

The room was lovely , the location was perfect , parking was bit of an issue as you can expect being in a town centre , but it's the little things that count , the bottle of water , the orange juice cartons , the biscuits and treats that most places don't bother with , highly recommended from me , the tv has Netflix and much more , 10/10
