The whole place was immaculately clean, and our room (King Suite) had amazing views across Walker Bay. Our room was a great size and very comfortable.

We were grandly welcomed and felt the exceptional ambience of the Grand Lux transmitted by our hosts Yvonne, Rocco, and their staff. Words don't do justice to describe the Manor's elegant serenity, although one could dig deeper by searching the wide selection of exceptional books in their upstairs library. Or marvelling at Yvonne's selection of stylish furnishings, the array of modern art, and the omnipresence of the gentle background music bearing the signature of our hosts. A tasty breakfast of one's choice was served in the Dining Room, fit for nobility. Coincidentally, maybe even the neighbours' beautiful cat decided to migrate to enjoy the tranquillity of the Grand Lux.

It was amazing, the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Beautiful room right on the cliff road with fabulous views across the bay. Wonderful antique furniture and touches throughout. Thoughtful touches in the room too. Huge bed, lovely bathroom with good shower and bath. Food was very good. We didn't know you need to book before 12pm for dinner so missed out on our first night which was very annoying as we didn't want to go out but Rocco, the manager, kindly made us toasted sandwiches. We were the only people in the restaurant the following night and were treated like royalty! Can't recommend the hotel enough and would definitely stay again.

The rooms are incredible. Their attention to detail is the best I have ever seen. Clean, beautiful interior design, everything you need in a room was there and more. Great selection of complementary snacks and drinks, they give you fruits (loved this). Both my friend and I were amazed, it was like paradise. It was my birthday and they got a notification on the day, they were kind enough to give us complimentary champagne.

Craig and Paul make this place! If you're looking for a super lux experience, then this is the place for you! They are on top of every detail and they both go out of their way for you. The breakfast was fantastic and any little extras needed, they were there. The property is fully secure and the sunrises are amazing from the balcony are amazing. The parking is secure and there's a bell, and then Craig comes to open the door. It's common sense as a 24 hour security guard isn't required but the property is still fully secure. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the gym facilities. There was no treadmill or dumbells and these gents organised the dumbells over night.

Wow ! What a wonderful boutique hotel perfectly positioned by the coastal path and with great views of the mountains above Fernkloof Nature Reserve. The bedroom and bathroom were sumptuous and very clean. The staff were very helpful and attended to our every need. I can highly recommend this hotel it really is superb all-round.

Location was perfect! A short drive or walk to most things, but more quiet and not in the middle of all the chaos and noise, which is perfect.
