The guesthouse is few minutes walking away from the beach. We had the room with access to the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Staff and owners were very friendly.

What was there not to like about 138 Guesthouse, it is situated just on the edge of Hermanus and right on the shores edge. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. Superb staff and very very helpful. Check-in was effortless and they very kindly booked us a restaurant to eat at as we arrived on Christmas Eve. I would definitely return if I were in Hermanus again. There are a several lovely restaurants nearby and the mall is a short 5 minute drive away too. Superb highly recommended.

Xth time here, so perhaps that's all there is to know :) Lovely staff, great views over the ocean, nice rooms, yummy breakfast, parking at the back, beach at walking distance, wineries nearby, restaurants in Hermanus couple of minutes driving, and one nice restaurant around the corner.

Awesome guesthouse where the host takes care of everything, great breakfast, car parking at the back, take a local cab for 110 rand to town center to great restaurants. And did I mention the views and sunset? They are awesome.

The guesthouse is situated in an amazing location right in front of the ocean and is decorated beautifully! What we loved most about our stay was the lovely staff. The ladies made us feel so welcome and were always up for a chat. They were really helpful with their suggestions and tips and always had an answer to all of our questions. We were sad we only stayed one night and will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything!!

The house and its interior are exceptional,their location is perfect.Their staff was very friendly, they recommended places to visit and gave us a map to follow.There was a fireplace,so when we had loadshedding we lit the fire and had great conversations there.

Everything is beautiful and the ladies that runs the place are just in every little detail, they are fantastic. I’ve been in SA for 3 months and I never found a place like this. We loved it.
