We received a warm and genuine welcome into a beautiful character property, the owners were relaxed and professional. Our room was large with large en-suite. The room decor was immaculate and very comfortable and warm on a cold and wet night. The tea and coffee selection provided was good with a pod coffee machine ( not great for the planet but convenient in the circumstances ) We had a delicious homemade evening meal. Breakfast was superb, loads of choice, delicious Avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast, good coffee. James and Fiona did everything to make you fell welcome nothing was too much trouble. A great place to stay and explore the location around Hay on Wye.

Very nice room, well stocked with tea and coffee. Great breakfast. Convenient location with pub within short walk. Welcoming hosts. Would visit again.

Everything was first class, from a wonderful reception to recommendations of where to eat that evening to the most amazing breakfast. Many thanks Fiona and James for a magnificent stay.

We were provided a warm welcome by Fiona. The building and tastefully decorated rooms were fantastic with a lovely balcony to watch the sunset. Breakfast was great. We also loved the two cats, Pjckles and Chutney. 100% recommended.
