This award-winning retreat in central Victoria's spa country offers a unique Japanese guesthouse experience featuring traditional accommodation, Japanese cuisine and luxurious spa treatments.
Each room at Shizuka Ryokan features authentic straw tatami-mat flooring and an Engawa alcove with chairs and table that overlooks a private Japanese garden.
The private en suite bathroom has a 2-person hot tub, a separate shower, traditional cotton yukata bathrobes and soft slippers.
Guests can indulge in a range of holistic wellness and health treatments. Authentic traditional cuisine is served in the restaurant, which offers both Japanese and Western-style breakfasts.
