Hotel is in need of some tlc however it's very clean and staff attentive. Very peaceful. Local pub across the road serving excellent food.

Good location within easy reach of Berkhamstead. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely to hear the water flowing from the water mill. There is a bus stop outside too if you dont want to drive to Berkhamstead.

It was a lovely hotel. The staff were polite they couldn't do enough, but we had some toddler running around till early hour, so I had hardly any sleep .i was exhausted the next day which ruined my meal and harry potter experience that my daughter had booked for an present we booked the hotel so we wasn't tired after a long drive from where we live but a waste of money we might as well came straight from home and did the drive
