A lovely welcoming heart of the village pub. Wonderful staff and super breakfasts. Very dog friendly. Did I mention the jar of dog biscuits and help yourself to a nightcap decanter of port at the top of the stairs??

Sraff was so friendly and just amazing. Landlady even brought me a blanket when we returned late in the evening from an outdoor wedding. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely choice if teas & coffee in room. Very comfy bed.

They are incredibly dog friendly! We and our pooch were warmly welcomed, and they offered plenty of treats to her as well. The room itself was VERY large and comfortable. The toiletries smell lovely, and the extra touch of "help yourself to a nightcap" was a real treat. We booked the night because we wanted to listen to Jeanne Naylor band, and we were very pleased with the entire experience.
