We had an unforgettable experience at the Landhotel. We stayed there for 3 nights, arriving on New Year’s day. As soon as we stepped into the property, Honza was ready to greet us in a very charismatic manner, he made us feel welcome. We were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge about the northern lights and surroundings. We requested a call to see the lights and- yes we saw them!!! We were grateful to Erick’s recommendations at Tindur restaurant. His service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The night shift was supervised by Diana who looked after us at the bar and made us feel like at home. Great location to see the northern lights. Nice design, clean and fresh.

Location was amazing, rural and requires appropriate planning in the winter but well worth it. Facilities were high quality, would highly recommend the sauna and outdoor hot tub facilities. Extensive delicious breakfast and option of room service. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful

The hotel is perfect for northern lights viewing, we saw the lights three nights in a row at the hotel. The front office staff (Honza and Petr) were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The room was cozy and bed was comfortable. They had a coffee machine available 24/7 free of charge in the restaurant which is great.

Excellent hotel. Our the best hotel in Iceland. It is located in the mountains. Everything is new, smells nice. Rooms are spacious and amazing as the bathrooms. Our first hotel which has coffe machine and Nutellu for breakfast. We adore fresh baked bread. On the scale from 1-10, I give it 15. Extra pozitive experience.

Great location to see the northern lights. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and good shower. Very nice breakfast provided each morning with a good variety. Good location to see south Iceland.

Wonderful stay and great experience. We had a fantastic view of the Northern Lights. The TV monitor in the lobby allows you to stay warm and monitor the Northern Light activity, so that you can figure out the best times to bundle up and go outside. They also offer wake up call services for the Northern Lights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included with our stay was also fantastic.
