I like small hotels, and Hotel (Restaurant) Krokodile is not an exception. In walking distance to the interesting parts of town, with a good supermarket about 80 meters away, and a restaurant below, you can't go wrong with this great-value hotel. But what you also get in small hotels, is personal attention, and the friendliness of the entire staff at the Krokodil made my stay a pleasure. The room, while spartan, was great. Quiet, good mattress, plenty of hot shower water. I would recommend this place any day over the more fancy chain-hotels.

Very helpful staff and good breakfast. The bed was comfortable. Trams were available a few minutes away. 'Garden' view was actually 'street', same as last year. The green hotel sign was very helpful as I arrived in darkness.

the outside terrace is nice and a pleasant place to relax. The food served is as good as breakfast in the morning.

Large clean room with a few facilities. Excellent shower and comfy beds. Cosy breakfast room. Nice location. Friendly staff.

Good welcome. Pleasant area to stay, not too far from the station and a lively restaurant below. Good sized room but a bit old fashioned. Decent bathroom.

Nice small scale hotel in a great quiet neighborhood with good vibes (many good bars and restaurants for brunch etc). Easy walking distance to Altstadt and buses/tram. People are extremely friendly. The restaurant in the same building has good vegetarian food.
