Home away from home! Margi and Phil are lovely people. They always made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. They love to share stories and experiences, you can definitly follow their recommendations for activities and restaurants. Would recommend Blue Jay Lodge!

Breakfast was excellent and the owners very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a fridge in the room and the coffee station was well supplied. The room and bathroom are spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Quiet spot only 20 minutes away from Kruger entrance park. Nice spacious rooms, built and decorated in local style. Very friendly owners who organize a daily sundown drink on the terrace. Lovely breakfast in the beautiful garden. Owners are also really helpful for booking activities and so on.

Phil and Margi went out of their way to accommodate us and suggest excursions for our two days in Hazyview. And to top it, at a very late notice, they prepared a Takeaway breakfast for us, as we decided to get off to an early start and visit the Kruger National Park for the day! I haven't been in accommodation with such large, luxurious rooms and bathroom en-suite for a long time - and we travel a lot! Such a pity that we couldn't spend more time enjoying Blue Jay, as the garden is also a haven to soak in and charge one's batteries! Hope we can return one day!!
