We looked out over a beautiful river, with tall trees in the distance swaying in the wind. The camp dog, Pig, visited us a few times, and he was absolutely lovely—usually just sitting beside us while we admired the view. The aircon was also very nice with the very hot weather we had.

My family and I have been visiting AfriCamps at Mackers for the past 2-3 years, and we plan to keep coming back. This place offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Sabie River, just outside the tents, makes you feel truly connected with nature. The tents are well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The honesty shop is a great convenience for those small items you might have forgotten. Our kids absolutely love the infinity pool, which adds to the overall enjoyment of our stay. AfriCamps at Mackers is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend it!

The place was awesome and clean. Braai stands gets cleaned in the morning a plus if you need to use it around lunch time.

Fabulous stay however the condition of the road is unsuitable unless you have a high vehicle. This should be mentioned before booking…we had two flat tyres and undercarriage scraped
