Liked everything. Have stayed before and enjoyed our return. Mark and Emma are very welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed. The property is a one minute walk to nearest pubs/restaurant in centre of Hawkshead. Breakfast superb! Also parking can be a problem in Hawkshead but The Old School House has parking available on site. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff/owners was so lovely and friendly. We loved chatting to them and didn't feel like they were ontop of us, the old school house is so comfortable and clearly managed with love.

This is a quiet spot really close to the village. No need to drive anywhere, plenty of walks from here.

Location of the Old school House is very central to the village , within walking distance to the village centre. Breakfast was excellent, & a tasty start to the day . Well presented & good produce .

It was ideal location for us visiting relative in village. Breakfast was great and had good choice. Room and en suite were good.

The owners Mark and Emma were warm and welcoming on my arrival and very helpful with the information I required to get to my destination. The room was clean and very comfortable and the facilities were good. Really enjoyed this accommodation and would return here. The breakfast choices were great, and freshly cooked tasty and well presented and I was able to eat it at a leisurely pace.
