PERMIT REQUIRED FOR FOREIGN NATIONAL / NRI / OCI CARD HOLDER TO ENTER ANDAMAN:>It is mandatory to have PASSPORT which is valid with 6 months duration prior to travel & valid VISA.>In case guest’s Visa is already received, kindly do check and ensure that there is NO SEPARATE STAMP stating ‘Entry to Restricted Areas Not Permitted’. If this exists, do contact the Indian mission to amend the same>Please also note that there is a pre-printed separate information in the Visa which would state: ‘Not valid for prohibited, restricted and cantonment areas’ and this line can be ignored>Foreign diplomats, members of the United Nations, International organizations holding diplomatic/official passport and Visa holders of Journalists Visa, Research Visa and Conference Visa and Citizens of Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, foreign nationals of Pakistani origin, shall not be issued RAP without prior approval of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.>If any foreign national of above stated category arrives without obtaining prior approval at Port Blair would be sent back by the same flight by concerned airlines on instruction from Foreigners Regional Registration Office, Port Blair.>The prior approval Restricted Area Permit can also be obtained from the Indian Missions overseas and also from the foreigners Registration offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata and from the Immigration Authorities at the Airports of New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.>All other categories of Indian visa holders are eligible for RAP issuance on arrival at Port Blair airport>Kindly note this is a Government related requirement and we will not take any liability in case guest has to return back from airport due to non compliance of the government rules and regulations. The location is sublime. The hotel accommodation, we had a Nicobari Villa, were gorgeous tucked away in the rain forest. So natural and relaxing. It was everything we had read about and more. The beach was something like out of Robinson Crusoe, incredible. Easily the best beach in the Andaman Islands.

Right from location to staff, food, room, spa and the overall stay was just superb. The staff is super helpful and the concept of barefoot is amazing. The resort has very limited accommodation- so that keeps the space very private and less crowded. Id also mention that the general manager took a lot of effort in ensuring the resort is very well managed.

What an experience, truly, like no other. Everything in Barefoot, from the supremely hospitable staff members (Jagan in particular) to the delectable food (the chefs are incredibly skilled), the spa service and the tent experience is par-excellence! The property is very well designed. Barefoot offers access to the best beach (Radhanagar) and coastline on the island. The naturalists on board at Barefoot (Prathamesh and Reuben) give surreal experiences of inter tidal walks, bird watching (32 endemic species) owl spotting at night, and multiple treks. The resort also offers various cruises and hosts dining experiences most suited for families and newly weds. The reception desk manned by Swati, Sushmita, and Chirag are impeccable at their job. Andamans is best seen and experienced at Serai Barefoot!

The location is right on the radhanagar beach. I absolutely loved the private section we had. It's perfect! The food is sooo good. And a great variety of options even for vegetarians. We chose to go for snorkeling with the barefoot scuba team and it was like a private excursion with just our family and they explained about every fish we saw!

Amazing selection of Indian breakfast and western if you want- although not sure why you would want that unless you have children in which case great variety

Very good service, Polite staff members. Food was tasty, adjustments were made in food preparations as per our request. Sea food was great. Very clean beach.

The property is immersed in nature, expect to see butterfly’s, lizards, all kinds of birds and trees and smell the perfumed jungle flowers. We stayed in a tented cottage which suited our needs very comfortably, ac and bed fabulous. The staff are not overbearing but there if you need them, they are very professional and well trained. All areas very clean and room serviced every day without fail. The restaurant is well managed by Suresh and seeing Vethas smile every morning made my day. Shushmita on the reception took care of our every need. The lifeguards on the beach are very experienced and dedicated to keeping everyone safe but again very discreetly. The location is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the pristine jungle, forest, beach, sea and in a peaceful way. For us we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay Thankyou Barefoot team !
