Short distance up the hill from town centre, quiet location. Huge room with balcony and beautiful views. The family who run this gueshouse is lovely!, and meals really good. We loved our stay here!

Set in the hills with stunning scenery.. away from the crowds … Kind and lovely family ..so helpful with all our plans and taking time to help us with arrangements Early morning flasks of tea and picnic for Adam’s Peak …waterfall day out … pick up to and from Hatton … Misty mornings sat on our balcony eating tasty local breakfasts … every meal here was incredible One of many highlights of our trip around beautiful Sri Lanka Thank you Saman and family

From the moment we arrived, the owners of this incredible honesty and their gorgeous children could not have been more kind! We stayed a couple of night and it was one of the best places we stayed during our time in Sri Lanka! We used it as a base to climb Adam’s Peak which is about an hour away. They kindly provided us with sandwiches when we headed off at midnight for our hike then gave us a delicious late breakfast when we got back! The evening meals were so tasty, I’d definitely recommend trying. Our rooms were so clean, beds super comfortable and bathroom / shower perfect. The Homestay is located within a tea plantation so we appreciated being able to walk straight from the property through the plantation. Having breakfast on the little terrace outside our room listening to the beautiful music in the background was also a highlight.

We had a wonderful stay at the Homestay, the whole family was very welcoming so it really felt like home. They were very helpful with organising our trip to Adams peak and the breakfast and dinners were delicious! We extended our stay for another day but would have liked to stay longer

Hands down the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka (we tried 8!). The terrace in front of our room was perfect to chill after Adams peak. The hosts were kind and knowledgable in hospitality. They were polite and not intrusive. The bed was very comfy - they had what felt to me like 5 star hotel pillows! And the tea plantation right behind the accommodation was a hidden gem. The food was delicious! I wish we had stayed longer

The owners are super nice and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing!! Very helpful couple with good tips for the area. We had a scooter and drove everywhere on our own but you can also have arranged trips through them.

Paradise! Really... Where to start? We booked 2 nights but extended our stay to 5 nights because we had such a fantastic time! - service lovely family run guesthouse. They will make sure you are comfortable and happy! They speak good English and are an excellent source for information about where to go/what to do in the area. - food the food is the best!! We had been in Sri Lanka for 6 weeks already and thought we had had our share of rice and curry. Mind you, not here! It was soooo delicious and varied, we ended up eating rice and curry 4 out of 5 nights because it was so delicious! Everyday it was different. Also the breakfast is outstanding: fresh fruits, fresh fruit juice, tea/coffee, eggs, toast and jam, pancakes and stringhoppers or roti with curry - room comfortable room with very good bed, good mosquito netting, and hot water The 2 downstairs rooms have their own little garden with view on the mountains, upstairs they have a balcony. Every room has a table and chairs to sit outside. - area The area is so fantastic! You can hike several stages if the pekoe trail from here (7,8,9), they can organise transport for Adam's peak, and there are several waterfalls in the area that are stunning! Tea plantations everywhere you look.
