Enhanced by stunning weather my first stay in a Shepherds Hut at The Plough was a great experience. The location is stunning and despite being in a holiday period, very peaceful. The hut itself is very comfortable and well equipped, the bathroom facilities excellent. Plenty of hot water and fabulous toiletries. Dinner and breakfast at the Plough were the usual high standard. A very cosy space with the wood burning stove creating an idyllic stay.

Really lovely clean spacious ground floor room with en-suite, situated in a separate annex to the main building. Beautiful surroundings. Excellent food. Staff very welcoming. Really enjoyable stay 👍

I stayed in one of the shepherd’s huts with my pup - it had everything we needed for an overnight stay, was quiet at night, and the breakfast was lovely.

The breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were amazed at the detail and cont of the Shepard’s hut so clever.
