The fine print
It is recommended to book in advance should you wish to eat in the restaurant during your stay. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation.We are huge dog fans here and selected rooms are dog friendly. Please contact us directly if you wish to bring your dog with you. A £10 per dog, per night charge will be added to your bill for additional cleaning of the room. For the comfort of our guests, please note we only accept quiet and very well-behaved dogs - should your dog show signs of aggression or is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, please do not bring them.

We were upgraded to a very nice suite Room 3 the pizza we had in the restaurant was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. A great stay at the George we will return!

Great couple of days away. Requested to move rooms as kitchen fan was so loud (faulty) and the move wasn't a problem. Great food (breakfast, and evening meal), great beer and wine, great staff, and great setting. Will return 🙂

Staff were excellent. In fact, a special mention to staff - I don't think I have ever had all such kind friendly people in a pub/hotel before! Wine was excellent. Some food was excellent; some just good. Breakfast was not as good as it could have been. Room was very comfortable but not big. Very clean.
