This hotel is in a great location, near the station and the town centre. The facilities in the room were great, so you could make your own breakfast and then spend the rest of the day out. Having a fridge was brilliant, along with the tea making facilities. It was very clean and the bed was comfy. However, the room was like a sauna for the two days I stayed in March, despite leaving the window open all day and late into the evening. It was stifling and unbearable. In the end I removed the quilt and slept under the cover. You had to close the window at night due to the noise from people, racing motorcycles and the seagulls. Even then it was quite loud. I was on the 4th floor. The room did come with a fan, but it just circulated warm air. I found it hard to get any cold water too. It was as if it had all been heated in the warm hotel. I honestly couldn’t have a shower as the water was scalding, even on cold. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming (well most of them). I really loved this hotel, but just couldn’t cope with the sauna. Such a shame.

The room was pretty clean and new which was great. There were good cooking facilities and the shower worked well.

The location near the railways station was good, and the sea front is only a few minutes' walk away. No breakfast provided but good cafes nearby.

The hotel is in a good central location easy to reach the railway station and close to shops and restaurants in the centre of town. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy.
