We had a wonderful time in this extremely well equipped apartment/cottage right in the heart of Old Town Hastings. If you may have wondered from looking at the historic arcitecture what it would feel to be inside one of these houses you can experience it here - with all the cosiness of this well restored house and the luxury of today's equipment.

Absolutely lovely place, close to both the beach and lots of little shops - made use of the nearby bakeries every morning. Perfect mix of the old style of the town and up to date facilities for comfort. All the appliances had the instructions in a handy folder, along with a lot of information about places nearby which was lovely. Much nicer than a hotel room be, especially if you want to cook a little and eat with home comforts. Good wifi as well. Super comfy furniture and bed + enough plug sockets for a device-heavy individual.

The location was perfect, close to the sea but far enough from the town centre to avoid the crowds. The bed was lovely to sleep in and had many a night's good night's sleep. Was also surprised at how warm it was, even with the storm outside blowing away. (This is also the reason our photos are so dark since the storm made it dark out most days). We didn't get to use the fire since we didn't need it most days, but when it snows, I imagine it would be lovely. There was a helpful set of items when we arrived (eggs, bread,milk, tea ect) which was well received due to many shops being closed due to christmas when we got there. So thank you for that.
