My girlfriend and I stayed at La Montagne for two nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The lodge is perfectly nestled deep in the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the dam and surrounding peaks. Despite its secluded location, it’s close enough to enjoy all the nearby activities, making it an ideal getaway. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, which added a personal touch to our stay. One of the highlights was the spa bath on the patio of our room, where we could relax and take in the stunning scenery. However, one minor downside was that the room didn’t quite match the photos online, which was a little surprising. Despite this, the comfort, cleanliness, and charm of the room more than made up for it. La Montagne is truly a special place, and we can’t wait to visit again. It’s the perfect mix of tranquility and accessibility, making it a destination we would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable escape.

La Montagne Guest Lodge does have a few redeeming features. The amenities, such as the pool and hiking paths, were enjoyable and well-maintained. The view from the property was absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and picturesque environment. Breakfast in the morning was served quickly, and dinner in the evening was absolutely lovely, which provided a much-needed highlight during our stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly upon our arrival, and when we mentioned that the hot tub smelled unpleasant, they promptly rectified the issue by replacing the water, which was appreciated.

I loved the views. I absolutely loved the luxury tents especially for a quick get away. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Kim in reception was amazing and on top of her game.

The view was great, staff was friendly, good restuarant with good menu. Swimming towels available pool side, jacuzzi comfortable and clean.

The view is wonderful. So are the beds, the pool, the jacuzzi. Note that this place does not have a permanent spa but one which needs to be booked in advance. The food was tasty and effort is made to make things comfortable for guests. It is a great setting for a romantic weekend. Better than for families with small kids. We had a pretty good time.

The staff were excellent and very helpful .Jabu and Simon made us feel right at home .The food was on par .House keeping could improve .Management is very involved and deals with any situation decisively .Spa facility is excellent .Views are to die for ! We had a fantastic stay !
