“The most amazing stay in Nepal”
13 Oct 2025
I initially booked Chitwan Village Resort for 3 nights while travelling around Nepal for 2 weeks. I loved it so much that I ended up cancelling the next leg of my tour and staying for another couple nights. The hotel is situated just off the main road in Chitwan which gives you an easy access to all the local attractions, without any commotion or unwanted noise. The area is beautiful - a massive garden where you can have a peaceful breakfast, spacious and clean rooms containing everything you may need (water, kettle, refreshments, towels, mosquito nets, and even shower shoes). The food is amazing and I especially recommend the iced coffee. But what truly takes this place over the edge is the most incredible staff - everyone is so helpful and kind, from the owner, through the managers and kitchen staff, to the gardeners and construction workers. Everyone is happy to help with any question or need you may have, whether it's carrying the luggage, giving you a lift somewhere, or arranging a safari trip. The owner told me how important it is for him to listen to the guests and implement their feedback, and I confirm you can really feel it here - not just an amazing hotel but a truly homey atmosphere. My favourite place in Nepal, I can't recommend it enough!
Natalia Kibrik “Absolutely wonderful stay in Sauraha, right next to Chitwan National Park! 🌿🐘”

My stay at Chitwan Village Resort was simply amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome — friendly, caring, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. The property is beautiful and perfectly maintained: clean, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. My room was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable — I felt at home right away. They also offer delicious meals — you can order lunch and dinner from the menu, and everything is freshly made and super tasty! 🍛 What impressed me most was the exceptional care and attention I received. The team organized all my tours and activities, including safaris and local experiences. They took care of everything for me and treated me like family — I honestly felt like their own child! 💛 If you’re visiting Chitwan National Park, this is the best place to stay in Sauraha. Wonderful people, amazing service, and true Nepali hospitality!

Wonderful 3 night stay. Beautiful hotel inside a very peaceful surrounding with the most friendly and humble staff. Can't praise them enough. Gorgeous garden. We choose aircon room, was very comfortable, quiet, hot water, TV etc They provide a fresh breakfast. Located just a street back from main street which is perfect as super quiet, but close enough to walk to shops. They offer free pickup from bus stop and can provide tours. Definitely 100% recommend this property. Thanks
Wanda “Staff went above and beyond”

The rooms are very simple, but clean and comfortable. You should be prepared for some minor inconveniences that come with staying in the jungle, like occasional power cuts at night – but that’s more about the region than the hotel itself. What we really appreciated was that, despite being in the jungle, we didn’t encounter any animals inside – the windows sealed very well, which was a big plus. The hotel also provides beautiful surroundings. The garden is exceptionally well cared for and offers a truly lovely view. The food is modest but met your needs. What stood out the most for us was the staff. They were unbelievably kind and went above and beyond to help us. During the protests, they arranged transport, double-checked information, booked our journey, and made sure we felt safe and well looked after in rather challenging circumstances. Thanks to them, we could fully enjoy our stay, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
