A quintessential English Inn set in an idyllic village in Yorkshire. Gorgeous views,fantastic staff. Our room was lovely and comfortable and both dinner and breakfast were fantastic.

I arrived early and the owner let me drop my bags off as the Inn was already open. He was wonderfully helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The bathroom was great with a big bath (and Radox!) The atmosphere is great in the bar. The food was gorgeous. We had a lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. We had our evening meals here. The food was extremely tasty. The area is beautiful. We had a walk around the village and I went to the local reservoir too. It's close to Harrogate too

The welcome and all the staff were very friendly. The bar food had a good choice and was reasonably priced but very good and the breakfast was also very good.

Great location to explore the area from. Very comfortable hotel with great WiFi connectivity, large tv, hairdryer and tea/ coffee facilities which were replenished daily. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere. All staff were friendly and approachable, especially Louise the owner who was lovely and never stopped working.

The Inn has a very cosy and comfortable feel about it. The meals - breakfast and evening meals - were all very good, and staff very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable, with lots of space. Nice biscuits and a variety of teas provided in the room, were much appreciated.
