We stayed at the homestay because one of my friends had recommended it and it didn't disappoint. The family is incredibly nice and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It's situated in a beautiful scenery and from the room and bathroom you can overlook the teaplantations and mountains. They provided us with a tuk tuk ride to Liptons seat and even to Ella. If you want to experience something special we would definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience here in White Monkey in Haputale ! The family room was big and confortable (not cold), prices very low, the dinner and the breakfast prepared by the mother were so excellent! The climate was really friendly and lovely, kids had fun playing with other Kids around the house. I'll reccommend It to all the families !

The views from the rooms are stunning! It's like being immersed in nature. The owners are all lovely and helpful, and offer food for a value price. You can easily use the location as a base to explore the area, including Haputale town and Lipton šest, by both bus or tuktuk.

I had a great time with the Dias family and other guests during Christmas. They are an amazing family. The home made food was delicious and the view in the morning out of my window was unbelievable. I definitely can recommend that place.

I would highlight the place where it is located 4 km away from the town of the ugly Haputale, It is a place where you can breathe a lot of peace. Both the bathroom and the room had large windows where you could see the entire landscape, without noise, only the birds and at night you could hear the sound of silence. The dinner was very good and complete. I recommend going to Lipton'seat by tuktuk to see the sunrise and returning on foot through the tea fields. It's a shame that since it was Christmas, the women who pick the tea were on holiday, but it was one of the best walks I've done in Sri Lanka, also because I had a splendid time, taking advantage of the fact that the fog rises at 11.

Exceptional times with Dias's family Mother cooked us some wonderful meals, Viraj and Shiaudh are very friendly and gave us a lot of information about what to do around, them, and we loved it! We recommend and we want to come back when we could 😊
