The guy helped us with tuk tuk and gave us suggestions for visiting around. And we also used the kitchen!

Deshan definitely made our stay here. A considerate and kind young man. Lovely views from the balcony allows a justifiable visit to the beer shop to enjoy the early evening!

The hotel was clean, newly renovated. The room was spacious, with enough beds for our family of five. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast in the next accommodation, varied and on request. Haputhale turned out to be an ideal starting point for our trips to World's End, Lipton's seat with tea plantations and a tea factory, to the surrounding waterfalls, and by train to Ella. The train ride was probably the only negative experience, but the ceremonial procession of dancing groups with elephants in Ella made up for it all...
