Superb host(family) that offers basic rooms with an astonishing view and a decent breakfast. Good dinner (fries rice, noodles or kottu) was avaiable for Rs.500.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Mist Bungalow in Haputale, and it was a good experience. The bungalow is charming, with breathtaking views of the misty hills that create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the owner, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Their genuine care and willingness to assist made our visit even more enjoyable. Host is great, helped a lot with planning the days around Haputale, prepared welcome tea for us and early breakfast to go, arranged the tuk tuk to see the sunrise at Liptons seat. First day it was really misty so didn’t see the view, but the other day it was clear and beautiful!

Great host family, hostel with amazing view. They give you all the information needed, prepare a take away breakfast if you want to go for a sunrise and even they rent you a scooter. Great experience overall.

Worth the money. Staffs were very friendly. Room got a stunning view. We booked a 2 large double bed room, it had a jacuzzi. We almost got an entire house for us, with a large hall space.
