There was good communication with the hotel to arrange transfers from the airport, and the check-in process was straightforward. The rooms were good, and bigger than we expected. The building itself is typical of the type, long and narrow, and as a result the rooms are rectangular, rather than square, but that doesn't take away from them. The location was excellent - easy walking distance from the French quarter and the old quarter. We were delighted to be right next to the lake, and in the heart of Hanoi.

Staff very friendly but communication between front desk and restaurant manager not as good as could be. We confirmed a booking at deak but message not communicated. When issue arose they did act promptly to resolve Breakfasts were good Rooms nice and bed comfortable Great location

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The location is fantastic—right by the lake and just a couple of minutes' walk to the old quarters and the water puppet theater. The rooms were great, and the customer service was extraordinary. All the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I particularly want to highlight the honesty of the staff. I accidentally left some money in my pocket, and they were quick to return it to me as soon as they found it in the laundry bag. Their integrity and attentiveness truly impressed me.

Amazing hotel and location overlooking Hoàn Kiếm Lake. We visited at the weekend when the road around the lake was car free leading to a magical experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again when we revisit Hanoi, hopefully in the next few years!

Great location on the lake. Comfy beds and we felt safe arriving at this hotel late at night. In general, the service was good and the hotel exchanged money at a reasonable rate. Most people staying here seemed to be over 50+ so definitely not a party hotel / location.
