Great hotel in the centre of Hanoi. All tourist attractions, bars, restaurants etc. pretty much within walking distance. Unbelievable value for money. The service provided prior and throughout our stay was fantastic, big shout out to Alice who went above and beyond assisting us with our travel plans. She arranged airport pick up, discounted spa treatment, 2 days 1 night Halong Bay cruise, sleeper coach tickets to Sapa, and 24/7 assistance via WhatsApp! Could not fault any of the bookings, they were exactly as described. Also shout out to Tony on reception who couldn’t do enough for you. He directed us to the best shop for exchanging money. Highly recommend staying here!

The best Front of house team. All super friendly and helpful with any requirements or information. Made our stay so easy. Comfy beds, great pillows. Lovely breakfast, even including smoked duck slices. Amazing.

We really liked this hotel, spacious room with terrace, clean, plentiful breakfast, in good position. It may not have been a 5 star hotel but the staff made it one. We have been to 5 star with all mod cons and there’s no warmth but at Serene the staff was lovely, warm and welcoming. We loved it here and the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. We definitely would love to come back and explore more.🙏

The location is fabulous. Really in the middle of the old city, with plenty of pho shops, restaurants (Lan Ong, on Lan Ong St - see my Tripadvisor review!), cafes (ONCE), and massage parlors nearby. (The hotel itself has a "spa" and, while on the pricier side, my partner reported it was well worth it.) The rooms are well-appointed (we stayed in two, before and after our trip to Halong Bay, leaving one piece of luggage with the front-desk), the bed is good, there is a writing desk, a fridge, and a safe, and there is also a tv which, however, we never used. The wifi is stable and fast (except for the last night when it turned temperamental. No big problem though since the hotel has two routers on each level.) There was complimentary water, fruit, coffee and tea and rooms were cleaned each day if you so desired. They also have a cleaning service which is ridiculously inexpensive. The brekkie is relatively simple but good. Plus, you can order a pho soup, an omelette, or eggs in any other form, without additional cost. The coffee quality is good although not consistently so. Everyone is really attentive and helpful. A shoutout at this point is in order to Alice who we were in touch with via whatsapp even before we departed from Sydney. She answered questions reliably, arranged for pickup/dropoff from/to the airport (after booking.com failed us), arranged for an overnight trip to Halong Bay, and even a day trip to the Mekong Delta before we flew down to HCM City. She also made the massage appointments for the partner. Definitely a place worth its price and recommended with confidence.

Really friendly helpful staff were the highlight of staying here. It was a lovely boutique hotel with view of Hanoi from the top floor restaurant.

Right in the middle of the market this location was just perfect, 5-7 mins walk to the lake and to the note coffee. The rooms were good size and comfortable.
