Intimate and very nice hotel well located in the center of Hanoi, 3 minutes walk from the famous Train street and only 15 minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooms are good and clean, good value for money.

Fantastic location, comfortable clean rooms, really nice breakfast too. What makes this place though, is the amazing staff who were all so lovely and attentive - especially Daff, Tracy and Macie. Shortly after we arrived we realised we had picked up the wrong suitcase at Hanoi airport (goodbye suitcase we thought), Daff was amazing in calling the airport lost property and eventually locating it for us! Super helpful arrival information and tips on what to do, and things to be aware of. Excellent stay!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The location is great - about 2/3 walk away from being in the middle of the action. The staff are incredible - some of the best humans I’ve ever met. Macie, Tracey and the rest of the team always had a huge smile on their face and were eager to have conversations with us about our stay and how they can help in any way. One staff member even offered to drop me off on his motorbike as I wasn’t able to order a grab because of the rain which goes to show what amazing humans they all are. We were off to Ha Long Bay on our check out day and Macie packed us a box of fruit to takeaway for the journey - so thoughtful. I hope to come back to Hanoi and stay at this hotel again. Thanks to all of the San Palace team you’re all the best!!

We have booked the hotel for its good location and the great reviews. Location was exactly what was promised and it’s very close to great restaurant’s in the old city and just some minutes away from train street. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. They have ordered taxis for us and shared recommendations. They are doing their best.
