The old quarter view Hostel is in an excellent location in the middle of the Old Quarter district. I was able to reach many sights on foot and never had any problems finding my way around. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, they even helped me when I had to do the laundry at short notice before departure or when I wanted to do a day trip to Ninh Binh and only got in touch with them the evening before (the day trip was great by the way and I really recommend it!). The beds were clean and the bathroom (I was in the 4 bed only female dorm room) was an absolute highlight.

This is my first hostel in Vietnam and it was a very pleasant stay. The beds were comfy and you have stairs rather than a ladder to climb to the top bunk which makes it much easier. The toilets and shower were very clean like it was cleaned regularly. The staff was exceptionally helpful and helped me get my boarding pass when I had trouble getting checked in online on VietJet Air. There's a free walking tour almost daily starting at 10 am which I recommend if it was your first day in Hanoi. Helps you get orientation of the city. Conveniently located in the tourist district and though the district was loud with nightlife, the dorms were quiet.

Excellent location in the heart of the Old Quarter. All facilities were great and kept very clean. The free beer is a nice gesture and the staff were all very friendly and helpful especially when booking trips.

For the 10 years of solo travelling, this has to be the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The facilities, the staff were wonderful and helpful and the location, it’s smack bang in Old Quarter in the heart of Hanoi and knowing the area well it is quite noisy but the hostel has done a great job sound proofing the noise from outside for a comfortable nights sleep or lazy day in the bed.

Clean beds, private beds with a curtain rail all the way around the bed so you secure some privacy. The showers were hot and the staff were super friendly, free beer every night too at an allotted timeframe!

- conveniently located in the centre of the Old Quarter, busy chaotic area, - easy to find, good spot for tour pick-up, - great communal area with place to eat and relax, - nice room with balcony (female only rooms), - kind and helpful staff, - good value for money!

Love this hostel! Great beds with sockets, light, curtains, plenty of facilities and always clean. The free walking tour and happy hour were great for meeting people :)
