In the heart of the Hanoi Old quarter, the home stay is in a quiet alley away from traffic noise. The host (lady) was very helpful in helping us booking transportation and excursions at good price. ( Ha Giang & Ha long bay cruise) The room is small but enough to visit the city a couple of days. Sharing kitchen can be used.

On the positive side: - the location was in the centre of the city with shops, restaurants and cafes nearby; - the room on the 4th floor was of decent size, clean, with a real window for the daylight, though facing the wall of the opposite building in a very narrow street; - the private toilet-and-shower room was also clean; - the air conditioner was powerful; - WiFi worked well; - the manager Nu was very friendly and answered the messages promptly; - one could use the spacious common kitchen on the ground floor with a table for four, a big fridge, tea maker and the stove to cook; - I left my suitcase on the ground floor for a couple of hours after the check out, and it was no problem.
