Beautiful old historic building. I stayed in one of the garden chalets. A bit dated but the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. It was spotlessly clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff very attentive and the food very good. The hotel needs more improvement with updating the interior and creating a nicer ambiance. The grounds are impressive very beautiful and the pool area nice the pool is heated.

I absolutely loved the comfy bed and sheets. It was also very quiet and we both got a great night's sleep. The room was dated and could do with being updated as well as some sort of dehumidifier. There was also no upsell on the continental breakfast to have a cooked breakfast.

It is a lovely very old hotel. Needs some updating and an elevator for the rooms upstairs. Rooms are a great size. Comfortable bedding, nice towels and continental breakfast was ok. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Great location for the pools, town and local walks. Room comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Facilities such as the pool were not promoted enough. We didn't learn about them until the end of our stay. Breakfast was rather disappointing with limited choice of bread. A basic offer of a cooked option would have given better value for the cost.

We were staying as part of the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Annual charity car Rally for MS, Bangers to Bluff. We had 2 of the 17 teams staying at this hotel. The staff were super accommodating. Sadly, we were only staying 1 night.

Great location, plenty of parking. It is a large old building - a lot of it unused. Comfy bed and pillows. Large garden grounds out the back to wander in. Big bar area with open fire - deck chairs outside the bar.
