Hamner Backpackers is such a lovely place to stay! This quaint and cosy cabin has everything you need for a short or long stay. The owners are so kind and helpful and it is clean and comfortable. They even offer a 20min freebie on their massage chair each day of your stay. It's perfectly placed in the town of hanmer springs, with quick walking access to everything you need and everything you can explore!

Nice cosy backpackers, rooms were as described. The man that takes care of the backpackers is lovely. Great location, easy walk to the springs and all restaurants in Hanmer.

Excellent location you can walk down to town. Well equipped kitchen very pleasant dining room and outdoor areas. We stayed in unit 5 which was attached to the separate garage. lovely big comfortable bed, Bunks also in the room. Unit 5 is separate quiet accommodation but be aware you do need to go into the house to use the bathroom. It's a great option for budget accommodation in Hanmer Springs. Host is very prompt helpful and friendly.
