Suites are extremely spacious and well appointed, albeit dated. The super-king bed was very comfortable and the views across to the mountains are awe-inspiring.

Spa bath was nice and hot however the anti vortex on the suction outlet was broken and this can be very dangerous. I advised staff.

Facilities were luxurious, stayed in the Spa Suite which was really spacious. Super comfy bed! Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The lodge is in a beautiful setting along a gravel road about 5 minutes drive from Hanmer township. The room is very large and well appointed with bed, lounge area with fire and a small dining table.
