Mysterious place set amongst trees. Interesting architecture. Comfortable room for a good price. Breakfast a bonus, simple but adequate.

Breakfast was simple, was good that the hotel had breakfast noting its location. It was a nice and quiet place to stay, Hobbiton was about 40 mins away, which is a decent drive. Punnet Cafe was 5 mins away and a nice restaurant to visit. As we had to make our way out much earlier than the stated breakfast time due to our booked tour at Waitomo Caves which was about 1.5 hr drive, the staff had accommodated to our request for earlier breakfast and it was really lovely for them to do that. We had rooms close by as well, and it was also nice to be able to walk out to the shared balcony.

Continental breakfast was simple but good. Good location, couldn't even tell we were close to the airport. Lovely and quiet, felt very private. Enjoyed the rustic feel from the wood.

The environment was lovely and close to nature. The room was clean and huge.the receptionist was amazing. She allowed us early check-in and upgraded us to deluxe room with a spa. Thank you.
