apart from maybe 1 or 2 km too far from my friends hotel around reaperbahn, this hotel was Perfect for. Since the weather was nice I could use electric scooters to get to and from the nightlife area. A beautiful commute when during the day on the scooter

The hotel is in a great location, but my stay was not very comfortable. I was accommodated in a room designed for a person with mobility disabilities. While it had plenty of space, the layout didn’t feel cosy or practical for me. Additionally, the windows faced a busy street, making it quite noisy.

The location is good. It is close to the central station and city centre. You can also walk towards the Speicherstadt area. The staff was very friendly.

The room was remarkably quiet despite being near a major road and we heard nothing from neighbouring rooms. The room was warm and the wi-fi good. There was adequate space for our belongings. There was a room of large lockers for luggage storage by reception which was useful (non-returned 50 cent coin required) and two elevators which were essential for our 6th floor location. Removable shower head meant it was easier to wash hair without having a full shower. Plenty of hot water too. Also vending machines and coffee facilities in reception although we didn't use them. Hotel is only 10-15 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof so easy for travel.

The rooms were immaculately clean as was the whole properly. Breakfast was outstanding and Highlights recommended. I would have given a higher score for the facilities but there is no option for a twin room.. As twin adults men didn't want to sleep together, the child had to sleep in the double bed and an adult in the bunk. Being 67 it aint fun😆. Shower and toilets basic and done the job. Staff were always friendly and helpful and had a good sense of humour.....We wanted somewhere to get our heads down and have a good breakfast to set us up for the day.. it did the job we asked it to do. Whilst hot water is available from a machine in reception, this was closed up at 22.00. As was the coffee machine it was part of. A small kettle in the room is not to much of an expanse for Ibis I am sure. Ideal for a homemade cup of tea! Snacks were also closed off at 22.00 when the front desk was unmanned.

Good location, friendly helpful staff. Had an issue with the electrics which was dealt with well by the staff who moved me to another room after the technician was unable to resolve the problem.

Staff were helpful, the location is very good for transport access, short walk to Hamburg main train station - where you can also grab a quick bite - Franz & friends pastries the best!

Clean n cute room, no hassles, no fuss.. And exceptional staff. Very helpful. A special shoutout to the staff in the restaurant of the Ibis Hamburg city nearby for making the new year eve memorable - Nice cocktails, and many thanks from my son for the Throw Crackers provided 😊😊
