I've been coming to The George for many years now. The hotel is well situated and I enjoy its ambiance. Rooms are perfect and the restaurant excellent. I'm glad that the sauna is working again.

Modern hotel in close proximity to local shops, restaurants etc. shirt walk from Central railway station with plenty of buses into and out of the city. Friendly staff.

A nice location, a lot of cafes around while still a quiet area. Half an hour walk from the Rathaus. Very nice spatious and clean rooms with a good design. A balcony with an ashtray. Late breakfast, and the breakfast itself was very nice. A popular bar downstairs was also a pleasant feature.

The Hotel is very well located close to the Alster and many nice Cafés and restaurants. The rooms are clean and has everything needed.

In my opinion one of the best hotels in Hamburg when you consider the price-performance ratio. Very good beds and nice rooms. Great atmosphere and interior design. Location is central in the St. Georg district with the “Lange Reihe” right outside the door.

Excellent stay! The staff is great, the facilities are up to a 4 star hotel standard and the service is perfect. We had a very relaxing time in the hotel, slept very well, had nice cocktails in the evening ( great amaretto sour by the way!) and all expectations were met. The hotel is 10 mins away from the city center, surrounded by small nice cafes and restaurants. It was a real pleasure to walk from the hotel to UBahn, SBahn, City Center, Porsche Center etc through a nice lovely small park.
