Hotel Overview

Raphael Hotel Wälderhaus is situated in the Wilhelmsburg district of Hamburg, directly at the former entrance to the International Garden Show. It is set within a unique wooden building, and offers free WiFi. The stylish rooms at this hotel feature light wooden interiors, and come with a flat-screen TV. A hairdryer is provided in the en suite bathroom. Organic and regional products are used to prepare the dishes served in the Wilhelms restaurant. The Wälderhaus hosts an exhibition covering themes such as the environment, as well as the effects of having a forest in Hamburg and its surrounding suburbs. The meeting rooms can be rented by guests for a fee. Wilhelmsburg S-Bahn Station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and provides connections to the centre of Hamburg in 8-minutes.

Excellent place to stay. Great breakfast. Rooms are much nicer than they look in the photos. Comfortable, spacious. Lovely location (nice walks from the hotel).

The hotel and neighbouring buildings are beautiful to look at. The room was comfortable and very clean. Location is also great, there is a subway station and a mall with great restaurants and shops just 10 mins away.

Everything! What a lovely hotel, friendly staff, beautiful style and theme, excellent location in a massive park, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, right next to an S-Bahn station.
