This stay was a trip down Memory Lane as we were members of the RSYC as children in the 70s - 80s. The club had undergone a massive change internally but the facade and prominent position in the Village brought tears to the eyes! We had a clean, cosy room and loved the nautical decor. We had dinner and breakfast at the club and it was delicious with friendly staff who showed genuine interest in our reminiscence. Highly recommended

Staff very helpful and friendly. Cooked breakfast options good - continental- limited. Room was very clean and tidy, fresh towel every day. Safe secure car park, easy access to the village - although up hill so wouldn’t recommend to someone with mobility issues - plus no lift to access rooms.

Staff were helpful, and the overall experience was nice. The hotel is a an old building that feels a bit like a maze. The rooms aren't big, but clean and functional nevertheless.

We were allowed to check-in to our room several hours early. Very comfy (although wifi was weak). Great dinner, reasonably priced, with an amazing view over the Hamble. Secure car park.

Location Great, Room not at all great for a 6'5" person :-( Banged my head at least 3 times and once quite seriously !
