Arrival by car: We ask you to park your car in car park P1 (address: Salinenplatz 4, 4830 Hallstatt).
It is not possible to reserve a parking space in P1. On busy days, it is therefore best to keep your booking confirmation to hand and show it to one of the car park attendants. This will allow you to be allocated an available parking space more quickly.
Use the shuttle (red VW bus labelled Hallstatt Shuttle) to the hotel. This shuttle runs daily from 09:00-19:00 and is available before check-in and after check-out with a valid car park ticket.
Car park costs for hotel guests: € 18 for 24 hoursPayment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. The hotel was clean first and foremost. I’m Greek so I do not take this lightly. Second the people factor. Francine was very welcoming. Personally I found Austrian people to be quite rude, however he made up for that. It felt like home away from home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this corner of the world for a stay.

Cozy and comfortable room. Staff is helpful. Near the ferry terminal and the short term carpark. But need to climb the flight of stairs from the short term carpark.

We had a lovely stay at Pension Leopoldine. Even from before we arrived, they were really responsive and answered all of our questions. The staff were very helpful when we arrived. We were given a map of Hallstatt and recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They also insisted on helping to carry our (very heavy) suitcases up the stairs to our room which we very much appreciated. The room itself was really nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend! The accommodation is centrally located and close to the ferry wharf and all tourist sites which made it very convenient.

Clean, great location, good facilities and clean. The host was hospitable, accommodating, helpful and went out of his way to help us. He carried our luggage upstairs, let us use the dining room while we waited for our afternoon train, and even make us tea and coffee while we waited. And he made recommendations for meals even though he had a dining room.
