Fantastic hostel! Great location in town, with walks from hostel. Comfortable beds, clean facilities, and the kitchen is amazing! So well equipped with everything you could need, plus large dinning/lounge areas. Lovely space around hostel too, would recommend!

This is a big YHA but the rooms and communal areas are great and clean. Great location to be able to get to walks

- location perfect, quiet and only a 5-10min walk to main centre. - lots of room and ability to cook, even when there is packed kitchen (two different cooking areas on either side of kitchen) two big fridges and stickers for everyones food. - kitchen is really well set up and clean, folk really follow the rules which is a big bonus. - lots of info from staff.

The bed & pillow was one of the most comfortable I have ever had in a YHA. Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation. Rooms were adequate in size, but I was in a room with 2 men which was a bit awkward - but they were amazing & so considerate. Staff were so friendly & really looked after me & understood I was in the area to run 165km over 4 days & needed a bit of love. The gardens outside were so relaxing & the lounge in the TV room was great to put my sore feet up at the end of the day, The TV was easy to use. Games & books were available. Plenty of room to cook - 2 areas set up. Ample kitchen cooking facilities & equipment which was clean & well located. Close to town & across the road from a walkway which I used a number of times. Car parking was awesome & easy to get in and out of. The facility was also very proactive in all aspects of being environmentally focused - Worm farm, recycling, signs everywhere as to how you can assist with the environment. Sign in sheet for walkers/hikers, site felt secure & it was quite - except for the cicadas!!! Overall the stay was amazing.
