Lovely motel. Kangaroos and cockatoos visited me when I had dinner on the patio. Unfortunately I had to evacuate due to a bushfire warning. But I will be back :-)

This place was lovely being able to see the Australian Coat of Arms in the backyard was amazing both kangaroos and emus. I even saw a deer. The venue is very close to town and you can walk to the restaurants as well. There is a nice fire pit to enjoy to watch the fauna at dusk. I would really recommend this place. The owners were very friendly and very helpful in getting around the Grampions.

Apart from the room itself which was excellent, we were amazed at the outdoor facilities. Several different seating areas and two barbecues. Then, the piece de la resistance, the view. It felt like we were on safari with the animals coming down to the watering hole! Apart from kangaroo, we had emu and deer. A large variety of birds. All within easy viewing distance.

I liked the proximity of the town and walking tracks, the vicinities and the fire pit for socialisation with the mountain view.
