The owner was extremely flexible and accommodating to checkin times and explained everything in person including entry after the pub closed.

Friendly, responsive manager. Lovely big room, very nicely decorated, with plenty of wardrobe space and drawers, a lovely ornate wall mirror and plenty of seating. Didn't spend time in the bar, but it looked cosy and would have spent time there had we not been attending an event nearby. Plenty of parking.

Quiet location, off the beaten track but still able to drive to areas to visit. Clean and comfortable room. Having a fridge in the room was great. Free parking was great.
