We felt very welcomed when we arrived. The evening and breakfast meal we had was excellent! Our stay was really nice as the room was clean, confortable and had a good nights sleep. We highly recommend and will be staying 1885 again. Special thank you to Nathan.

Really grateful that I was allowed to check in early so I could go on to a wedding and did not have to come back and check in later Staff lovely and altogether very good value

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, a far cry from the hustle and bustle we are used to in the city. The smiles are genuine and our host couldn't do more to help us. We've already planned our next trip back and won't hesitate to book here again Ps. The beds are a dream, so comfortable!

Staff (especially the lady manager) were very attentive and did everything the could to make us feel welcome, helped us with our bags (heavy as they were!)... just wonderful! Food at the pub was excellent!

The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The dinner I had in the evening was really nice and just what I needed after travelling all day. Location is good with a park next to the hotel and easy access to the countryside. Overall a good stay and comfortable nights sleep.
