We booked triple room with extra bed. We came after midnight and the key was left in the hall of the building and we saw that we got twin bed room. The mobile was turned off so we couldnt complain. Four of us slept on two beds which was very uncomfortable and we also had only two towels. In the morning staff apologized for that. Breakfast was good with lots of lamb homemade products.

Hotel just off the ring road with clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding sightseeing and providing us with tips on when and where to see the northern lights

Didn't expect the amazing views out to the ocean from our room when we booked it or company of the amazing arctic terns nesting on the farmland nearby who kept us entertained! The room was so lovely, big comfy bed and really nice bathroom facilities. Breakfast was included which was great, the pancakes were amazing! After travelling from the north of the island, this was one of our stops travelling back round the south east and it was a perfect stop along the way. We had an exceptionally long drive and arrived a little late after the check in time but the member of staff of reception met us with the biggest warm smile that made us feel so welcome, they even offered us food despite the fact the kitchen was about to close. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and whilst we only stayed the 1 night and not for very long due to our travel plans, we loved our stay here and would definitely go back. The added treat of the bird watching and stunning views out to sea were a bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful mountain or sea views. Lively walk from hotel room to reception/ restaurant. Interesting museum. Delicious local cuisine and beers.

The reception counter is in the restaurant, it is also a small visitor information centre. Location is great, surrounded by the sea and mountains. We parked our car just outside the house entrance. The house is clean and spacious. Soft comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. The restaurant is great, serving excellent food with friendly service staff. The Mango Arctic Char was better than the Arctic Char we had in the previous restaurant. There is a museum which extends from the restaurant, free for the guests to understand the history of Hali history and culture. Our stay at Hali was unforgettable because the aurora appeared in full glory at night.
