The owners were absolutely wonderful! It was wonderful to stay in such warm and welcoming home and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. They were also very supportive in providing gluten free alternative food items as well.

Our hosts were amazing. So accommodating, helpful and hospitable. The food that Taka cooked was amazing. And the location was really convenient. Within walking distance of Escal Plaza where you can then access Goryu and Hakuba 47. We highly recommend Pension Bonnard if you want more authentic Japanese accommodation and home cooked meals.

Friendly staff, good location, nice and presentable breakfast and dinner (need to book one day ahead). If the toilet seat could be heated, then it's even better!

Lovely big house with comfortable beds. Taka and Kayo went above and beyond to assist us with everything. Loved being able to enjoy breakfast and dinner at the house after big day skiing. Perfect for a large group of friends/family to stay and relax.

Great hospitality from the hosts! They took time to explain everything in details. They were very friendly and always there to help. I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's thoughtful accommodation of my vegan dietary preferences. They went out of their way to customize the breakfast menu according to my needs, demonstrating exceptional kindness and attentiveness to their guests. This personalized touch significantly enhanced my experience and made my stay all the more enjoyable.

The owners Kayo and Taka are very friendly and helpful, they can speak English well so we have a very good conversation while stay. The inn is located inside the forest and take 5mins walk to Goryu ski resort, convenient for skiing and make u have a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Breakfast and dinner are delicious too, must try!
