⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Le Bocage in Ecoland Hakuba was truly a dream come true! From the moment we were greeted by their friendly driver at the train station, we felt like we had stepped into a winter fairy tale. As we walked to our apartment, the snow-covered streets and picturesque surroundings made everything feel magical. Le Bocage is perfectly tucked away just off the Main Street, offering a peaceful, charming escape with loads of character. We booked a one-bedroom apartment for my husband, our two daughters (aged 12 and 8), and me. The ground-level apartment was ideal—while we relaxed in the warmth of our cozy space, the girls had a blast building snow forts and igloos right outside our door. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The main bedroom was generously sized with a large wardrobe, drawers, and two very comfortable single beds (which we pushed together for a cozy night’s sleep). The girls were perfectly content on the pull-out sofa that converted into a queen bed. Having a fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer—Ecoland isn’t known for takeaway options, and after a long day on the slopes, the last thing you want to do is go out again. The kitchen came with a fridge, microwave, mini grill, stovetop, and all the necessary utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. Plus, there’s a supermarket nearby, and a fantastic convenience store with ready-made meals just a 5-minute walk away! The location couldn’t be better. We were only steps from the Main Street, where a free shuttle whisked us away to the slopes. After a long day on the mountain, it was wonderful to return to the apartment and make use of the excellent ski drying room with racks for boots and gear. The apartment also had a washer and dryer—perfect for drying out after wet days in the snow. And let’s not forget the vending machine stocked with delicious hot chocolate, the perfect way to warm up before heading out for a day on the slopes!

Size of the chalet is very good. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Private parking is convenient. Kitchen is well equipped. Quiet location. A Coop supermarket is less than 10 minutes drive away.

Seemless check-in, everything we needed was at the house. Plenty of space, plenty of bedrooms. Great place to stay with 2 families. Even a small outside area where we could do some summer fireworks. Very centrally located in the area so quite a few restaurants/shops at walking distance.
