A beautiful property located on the hillside in the woods virtually, about 1.2 km from the Hakuba village and bus terminal. So a beautiful setting. The owner was very cooperative to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon at the bus terminal for skiing. Also to drop off in the village in the evening for dinner. If not though, the location would be impractical. Walked home most nights after dinner, but difficult when it had snowed. Caught a taxi one night which was about 1400 yen.

Even though you are not in the town, we were dropped off and picked up from skiing and dropped off for dinner.

Very basic but we expected that. Host was extremely kind & welcoming though & even though he couldn't speak English & we couldn't speak Japanese he still constantly offered to drive us to the ski areas, bus terminal or into town when needed. He did this for all guests so always seemed busy running people about & picking them up, going out of his way to help.

Was a awesome place kind of out of the way but not to far you couldn't walk. The owner was extremely nice and tried to communicate in English where possible
