It a top class grand hotel with doting kind staff. The onsens were pristine rock pools, some out under the stars. The breakfast was extensive and our rooms were large and super comfy. Our robes!! Oh my.

Location is good, next to station and within walking distances to shops and eateries. Room is spacious and clean, very comfortable. Onsen is good, with both indoor and outdoor onsen.

Everything about this hotel was perfect -> amazing staff, old world charm , breakfast spread and restaurants at the property. The private onsen was brilliant too and they had a kids play area where our son had a great time. Best part was the location as it is right in front of the hakone yumoto station which made every place very accessible.

This was a grand hotel with an excellent location. Our room was large and very pretty. We had a great view of the river and lower part of the town. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The onsen was very nice, busy but comfortable. I really enjoyed the yukata that was provided. Comfortable room and beds!

Great hotel with great location. Yumoto Station is abt 5mins walk to the hotel. Breakfast is very satisfying with decent coffee! They will set up futon between 6-8pm.

For first timer, this authentic onsen was great! After arriving I got the impression that this hotel is used by many Japanese business men, and therefore I believe that it was also a more authentic experience, with a lot of value for the money spend.
