All rooms are non-smoking.If you wish to have meals, please make a reservation with the meal plan. Advance reservations are required for meals. You cannot choose where to eat. Meals will be served at a Japanese restaurant. If you wish to dine with another group, please notify the facility at the time of reservation. If you do not inform us, we may arrange separate tables for you. Changes to the meal content cannot be accepted(such as allergies or vegetarian requirements).Guests with children must inform us at the time of reservation. Please indicate the number of children and their ages in the Special Requests box; children 2 years and older are included in the number of guests. Please contact the facility for details.Public shuttle buses run from Hakone-Yumoto Station to each ryokan (charges apply, cash only).Guests must check in by 17:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.

Very beautiful property with a spectacular Japanese garden and Onsen. Large traditional rooms, with modern bathrooms. It was s short walk from the station. We had an excellent Kaiseki meal for dinner. Traditional Japanese breakfast was also lavish but could have included complimentary coffee.

The japanese style room was very nice and big. We were travelling with kid and it was good to have a separate space in the room. The onsen was enjoyable and the garden very beautiful.

Kids love the experience of staying in Japanese family room. It’s like living dream of their favourite cartoon . Onsen was great! Wish we had spend more time in property

Food was incredible at dinner however there is zero flexibility to cater for any dietary requirements (we knew this in advance but still frustrating). The onsen was lovely, great facility open all night and really clean however some more guidance would have been appreciated. Hotel is very much catered towards local Japanese travellers. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a fun experience for one night.

We stayed in a traditional Japanese ryokan room which was beautiful and had a great view of the surrounding grounds, which were gorgeous. The onsen itself is also lovely and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed here early March for a few nights and just wanted to say a huge thanks to the reception team especially Kozue. We initially booked a traditional room but my partner was quite sensitive to the normal tatami smell. We raised our concerns with the team and they had arrange for a western style room instead but it ended up being the best upgrade we could get and an amazing way to spend our anniversary. By far one of the best accomodations we’ve stayed at yet with a beautiful garden and onsens! They have an incredible public open air one, and also a bookable private onsen (however I highly recommend booking the western style rooms with onsen) Would definitely love to return again

Amazing facility surrounded by beautiful garden and with private natural hot springs. The onsen are divided by gender and can be both indoor and outdoor. Very helpful staff and great food, both in their own restaurant and the steakhouse next door. Our room was very neat with real local fornitures and breathtaking garden view. Our days there did feel like a different experience, which I would totally recommend to anyone wanting to bring home a piece of Japan.

Good location from the Hakone-Yumoto train station, just a short walk. The outdoor onsen was good. The ryokan rooms were good, well sized and comfortable. Nice little communal tea/coffee room. Nice outdoor garden.
