Despite the long bus ride (almost an hour) from train station to hotel, it was worth it. Loved all the Japanese elements in the room and especially enjoyed the private onsen. They will provide you with a yukata too. The onsen was smaller than expected but enough for 1 pax. Family Mart is just next door to the hotel and was our saviour as we couldn't get a seat at the nearby restaurants or in the hotel as they were fully booked. There's also a free flow drink machine at the lobby which was a bonus.

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious, the private bath was really hot and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were above average standard. We stayed 2 nights and the hotel was so kind enough to provide us different menu for the dinners, which we enjoyed both a lot. There was one server at the restaurant who spoke Korean really well and we appreciated her service. The public bath was standard. Location is great and you always have seats in buses.

The room was so spacious and love the private bath in the room as well since I have tattoo. The dinner and breakfast was well made and the staff was very tentative. The free drink bar at the reception was also a lovely touch

Private onsen was fantastic with enough space for a man over 6 feet tall and his partner. The room was spacious and I loved the aesthetic.

We loved our stay at Susukinohara Ichinoyu. It's a beautiful hotel with well-appointed rooms, private in-room onsens as well as the large (gorgeous!) public onsens, and serves delicious meals. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return.

Room is large, good to have a private onsen. Traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast was nice but not for everyone. Convention store and bus station is close.
